Notes |
- George Coleman came to Virginia as a young boy, probably about age 13 or 14, and his indenture was acquired by Capt. Francis Marrimer of Essex (Old Rappahannock) County.
In 1693 the reference to him as a servant boy would indicate birth about 1675.
in January 1706-1707, he married Martha Presnall, daughter of George Presnall and his wife Elizabeth Williams of Middlesex County.
He died in Essesx at some time before 1720, perhaps several years before. He did not own land, and there is no surviving record of his death.
