Miss Jennie Limbaugh, daughter of Joseph and Susan Limbaugh, was buried in the home cemetery December 10, 1902. Deceased was born August 3, 1878, and died December 4, 1902, making her 24 years, 4 months and 1 day old. She had been a sufferer for a year but bore her afflictions patiently. When her disease had baffled the skill of home physicians, she sought the more genial climate of California, accompanied by her brother Arthur, but it was of no avail; God, who doeth all things well, took her to live with Him, where pain and disease are unknown. She had united with the Evangelical Lutheran Churchsome months before here death, and gave full assurance of an abiding faith in the atoning blood of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Jennie leaves a mother, four brothers and one sister to mourn her departure, but her Savior is also their Savior, therefore they can meet her again. It is attested by all who knew her that she had a smile only for everybody. Her pleasant face can never be seen again in this world, and her place in her family can never be filled, but know this, she has clasped the hand of her sister Hattie who preceded her in the blissful shores a few months, and together they are singing hallelujah to the Lamb that taketh away the sin of the world.
